FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police identified Christopher Earl Martin as the driver who they say was responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash last month.
Police arrested Martin, 51, about 8:30 a.m. Friday on an outstanding warrant in St. Lucie County.

On Nov. 10 in the 3600 block of West Broward Boulevard, Martin failed to yield the right of way to 29-year-old Kevin Gilliam, according to police.
Gilliam's motorcycle then crashed into Martin's car. He immediately flew off his motorcycle and was thrown onto the ground.
Gilliam was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died.
Formal charges against Martin are pending the completion of the investigation.
