Truck gets stuck on FL Turnpike guardrail

Northbound lanes shut down at Griffin Road for several hours

A truck got stuck on the guardrail of the Florida Turnpike Friday morning.

DAVIE, Fla. – All northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike are reopened after a truck that went over the guardrail was towed away.

It's unclear what caused the truck to end up going over the concrete guardrail before 6:45 a.m. Northbound traffic was backed up for miles as a result. All lanes were reopened by 8:40 a.m.
