24 rattlesnakes found hiding in one home

First snake appeared in toilet, remainder found during inspection

JONES COUNTY, Texas – Just when one family thought a rattlesnake in their toilet was the worst of their problems, it suddenly got a lot worse.

Instead of one rattlesnake, an inspection company found 23 more hiding throughout the house.

Big Country Snake Removal of West Texas posted the big find on its Facebook page, saying the snakes were the first the family had seen in years.

The company found 13 adult rattlesnakes in the cellar, 10 more underneath the house and, of course, the one originally spotted in the bathroom toilet.

The toilet snake made its way into the loo through an opening in a relief pipe.

Big Country says it's easy for rattlesnakes to survive by using their camouflage.
