I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request in hopes that you can help make this Father’s Day one we’ll never forget. My dad is the strongest man I know. He’s always been the quiet hero in our family — the one who showed up, stayed strong, and loved us unconditionally. Recently, we received the devastating news that he’s been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We don’t know how much time we have left, but what we do know is that this Father’s Day may be our last with him. There’s one thing that still brings a smile to his face, even on the hardest days — tuning into Channel 10 News. He’s been a loyal viewer for as long as I can remember. It’s his daily ritual, and watching the 10 News team makes him feel connected, grounded, and hopeful. That’s why we’re reaching out. If there’s any way to feature him in a Father’s Day segment or even share a small shout-out on air or on your social media, it would mean the absolute world to him — and to all of us. He would be so proud, and I know it would lift his spirits in a way nothing else could right now. Thank you for all you do for our community.
