I was up early to catch the sunrise and saw something unexpected. To my northeast, I could see the tops of thunderstorms located in Round Rock, Texas. Those thunderstorms were over one hundred miles away. Cool!

Mammatus clouds time lapse. The flickering is due to lightning strikes reflecting off the clouds.
The big bada boom lasted for hours. It was so eerie to hear a nearly continuous rumble of thunder for over two hours.
