MIAMI – Miami Heat owner Micky Arison welcomed his team's newest player on Wednesday.
Arison took to Twitter to welcome center Greg Oden saying, "Congrats Greg- the journey continues. Welcome to the Miami Heat family."

Miami signed Oden, a former number one draft pick, to add size to their roster. After battling injuries throughout his career, Oden is attempting a comeback after not having played in the NBA since 2009.
Oden also used to Twitter to share his thoughts on rejoining the league tweeting, "I am very excited and happy to be here. I'm thankful to the Miami Heat organization for bringing me in and I'm ready to get to work."
Miami is hoping he can be productive as the team seeks a third straight NBA championship.
