MIAMI – After a forgettable season on the ice, the Florida Panthers with good news on Tuesday.
The Cats won the top pick in the 2014 NHL draft.

As the team with the 29th worst record, the Panthers had an 18.8 percent chance of winning the draft lottery.
The draft will be held June 27-28 in Philadelphia.
