MIAMI – The FIFA World Cup tournament began with 32 countries playing in Brazil, but after Friday only half of them will remain on the competition.
On Saturday, 16 national teams will begin to play in the knockout games that will lead to the July 15 quarterfinals, July 9 semifinals, the July 12 final for second place, and the July 13 final for first place.
