Dolphins win second straight

Fins beat Jaguars 27-13

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It wasn't always the prettiest game for Miami, but the Dolphins will certainly take it.

The Dolphins beat the Jaguars 27-13 on Sunday.

Miami gained just 3 yards of offense in the first quarter. However, the game was scoreless.

Miami got onto the scoreboard in the 2nd quarter when Louis Delmas intercepted Blake Bortles and returned the ball 81-yards for a touchdown.

The two teams exchanged field goals before halftime. At the half, the Dolphins led 10-3.

In the third quarter, Miami's defense struck again. Brent Grimes picked off Bortles and returned the ball 22-yards for a touchdown.

Later in the third quarter, the Dolphins offense woke up. Ryan Tannehill connected on a 50-yard pass to Mike Wallace to put Miami in business. After that, Lamar Miller ran for 31-yards.

Tannehill capped the drive with a 3-yard touchdown pass to Rishard Matthews.

The Dolphins took a 24-6 lead into the fourth quarter. Early in the fourth quarter, the Dolphins drove deep into Jaguars territory. However, Tannehill threw an interception to end that drive.

Caleb Sturgis tacked on a late field goal to give Miami a 27-6 lead.

In the last few minutes, Blake Bortles took a shot down the field and threw a 48-yard touchdown to Allen Robinson.

The Dolphins led 27-13.
