MIAMI – The Heat's Hassan Whiteside has been suspended for one game following his ejection from Monday's game vs. Boston.
The NBA league office put out a news release Tuesday afternoon.

Whiteside elbowed Boston's Kelly Olynyk during the third quarter of Tuesday night's game.
Whiteside will serve his suspension Wednesday night when the Heat host Brooklyn.
Last week, Whiteside was suspended by the league for an altercation with the Phoenix Suns.
During Tuesday's practice, Whiteside apologized for his actions.
Right now, the Heat are in 9th place in the Eastern Conference, just outside of the playoffs.
