MIAMI – The Miami Heat and Dwyane Wade are making progress on a multi-year deal.
On the same day that the team signed Goran Dragic to a 5-year, $90 million contract, Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Heat and Wade are moving forward.
Heat President Pat Riley has expressed several times a desire to bring back the 12-year veteran, who is hoping to receive a maximum contract.
Wade, 33, opted out of his one-year, $16 million contract.
The Heat are trying to avoid paying a repeat offender luxury tax.
