MIAMI – The Miami Marlins have officially placed pitcher Jose Fernandez on the disabled list.
Fernandez has a right bicep strain.

He left his last start after just 5 innings and 80 pitches.
Fernandez had Tommy John surgery last year and had worked his way back this season.
The fish called up Justin Nicolino to take Fernandez's place.
Nicolino will start Tuesday night for the Fish against the Boston Red Sox.
