PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Florida and Florida State are unanimous picks to win this weekend as both teams begin conference play.

The Gators have won 28 straight against Kentucky, last losing to the Wildcats in 1986. The impressive streak almost came to an end last season, when the Gators held on to win 36-30 in triple overtime.

Florida State needed a field goal with 3 seconds remaining to upend Boston College in a 20-17 win last year. Now the Seminoles must travel to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, for a Friday night tilt at Alumni Stadium.

Local 10 sports director Will Manso and Local 10 sports reporter Clay Ferraro are tied for first place with a 20-3 record, while Local 10 reporter Andrea Brody and Local 10 meteorologist Julie Durda are locked in a tie and looking to gain on the guys.

Durda believes Nebraska will knock Miami from the ranks of the undefeated this weekend, while Brody stands with Manso and Ferraro in picking the Hurricanes.

Manso isn't high on Miami's opponent last weekend. He's picking Buffalo to roll into South Florida and drop FAU to 0-3.

Everyone is in agreement that Maryland, Michigan State, UCF, FIU, USC, Alabama and UCLA will win.
