CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes are the preseason pick to win the Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal Division.
Miami was picked by 13 of the ACC's 14 coaches Wednesday to win the division.
The Hurricanes, ranked fourth in the Collegiate Baseball preseason poll, have won the Coastal Division each of the past two seasons.
Virginia received one first-place vote. The defending national champion is predicted to finish second behind the Hurricanes in the Coastal Division.
Behind Miami and Virginia are North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Duke, Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh.
Louisville is the unanimous preseason pick to win the ACC Atlantic Division and overall championship.
The Hurricanes advanced to the College World Series for the 24th time in school history last season. Miami hasn't missed the postseason since 1972.
