MIAMI – The Miami Marlins traded for an outfield bat on Wednesday night when they landed Jeff Francoeur in a three-team trade with the Braves and Rangers.
The Marlins gave up minor league catcher Matt Foley to the Atlanta Braves and international signing slots #37 and #97 to the Rangers.

Texas gave minor league infielder Dylan Moore to the Braves and will get international signing slot #93 from Atlanta.
Francoeur, a 12-year veteran, will help the Marlins deal with the loss of Giancarlo Stanton to a groin injury.
