MIAMI – The Miami Marlins have activated outfielder Giancarlo Stanton and first baseman Justin Bour.

Stanton will only be used as a pinch hitter according to the Miami Herald.

Bour has been sidelined with an ankle injury. He was batting .268 with 15 home runs and 46 RBIs when he was hurt. Even after missing the Marlins' last 57 games entering Tuesday, Bour still ranks fourth on the team in homers this season.

Bour was not in Tuesday's starting lineup against Philadelphia.

Also Tuesday, Miami recalled left-handers Justin Nicolino and Hunter Cervenka from Triple-A New Orleans, and outfielder Yefri Perez from Double-A Jacksonville.

Right-hander Kendry Flores was designated for assignment. Flores allowed one hit in three innings in one appearance this season with Miami.
