DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins plan to use Cameron Wake as a pass rush specialist.

Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph addressed the media on Tuesday.

Joseph said the goal was "keeping him healthy and allowing him to be a dominant pass rusher."

Joseph said limiting Wake's snaps would keep him "fresher for 60 minutes."

Wake, 34, is working his way back from a torn Achillies.

The Dolphins open the season Sunday at Seattle.
