PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Just like that, Local 10 News investigative reporter Amy Viteri is back in the race.

After a poor opening week, Amy made amends with a 10-1 record in the week five college football picks. Her strong showing was the best among the group and puts her in second place with an overall record of 45-11.

Amy's only miscalculation was Florida State's 37-35 loss to North Carolina, which ended the Seminoles' 22-game home winning streak.

Amy is one game behind sports reporter Clay Ferraro, who is the new leader with a 46-10 overall record. She was the only one to pick Florida International to win its first game of the season against rival Florida Atlantic in interim coach Ron Cooper's debut.

Sports director Will Manso and meteorologist Julie Durda were 5-6 on the week. Julie's poor showing knocked her out of the top spot, while Will fell to last place with an overall record of 42-14.
