In the Dolphins first two wins of the streak, Ajayi rushed for over 200 yards.

On Sunday, Ajayi faced the Jets who have the top rushing defense in the NFL.

Still, Ajayi kept pounding New York's defense and finished with 111 yards on 24 carries.

Ajayi's emergence has coincided with a return to health for the Dolphins offensive line.

The team's projected five starters became healthy, just as Ajayi started to explode.

Ajayi said Monday, "Having those guys, the Fab Five out there, I feel confident every time.  Behind those guys, I know they are going to create creases.  Then it's just about hitting it hard and breaking tackles."

Head Coach Adam Gase said he reminded the team Monday that the Dolphins need to keep pounding the football.

Gase said, "Don't let me go away from Jay.  Don't allow me to get into that rhythm of just throwing the ball.  The reason why is, why Jay is so effective, he's a guy that runs very angry.  If you do that for four quarters, eventually the other team is gonna break.  He's a big back that runs hard, he runs through contact."

Ajayi and the Fab Five will next take their show to the West Coast.

The Dolphins play at San Diego on Sunday.
