Local10.com 2016 college football picks: Week 13

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Who will emerge victorious in the Local10.com college football picks as the final week of the regular season comes to a close?

It's rivalry week, which means records often get tossed aside when state and border foes tangle.

No. 2 Ohio State is hosting No. 3 Michigan in a game that could decide which team remains in the hunt for the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes are a unanimous pick to beat the Wolverines.

The Buckeyes have won 13 of the past 15 meetings, including four consecutive victories. The Wolverines haven't won at Ohio Stadium since 2000.

Local 10 News sports director Will Manso is picking No. 22 Texas A&M to beat 25th-ranked LSU on Thanksgiving, but the rest of the group is going with the Tigers.

Meteorologist Julie Durda picked 17th-ranked Nebraska to win at Iowa on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The Hawkeyes have taken two of the last three games, but the Cornhuskers were victorious in their last trip to Iowa City.

No. 15 Florida State is a unanimous pick to defeat rival Florida for the sixth time in seven seasons under head coach Jimbo Fisher. The 13th-ranked Gators notched a big victory at LSU last weekend, propelling them to the Southeastern Conference East Division title.

Other unanimous picks are Houston over Memphis, Washington over Washington State, Georgia over Georgia Tech, Louisville over Kentucky, Old Dominion over Florida International, Alabama over Auburn, Southern California over Notre Dame, Middle Tennessee over Florida Atlantic, Colorado over Utah and Clemson over South Carolina.
