Clay and Julie both went 7-1 during championship week, their only blunder being Temple's 34-10 rout of Navy for the American Athletic Conference championship.

Sports director Will Manso and investigative reporter Amy Viteri were 7-2. Will's decision to pick Wisconsin to win the Big Ten Conference title looked promising until Penn State rallied for a 38-31 victory.

Likewise, Amy picked Wyoming to beat San Diego State again to win the Mountain West Conference title. In the end, the Aztecs got the better of Wyoming, winning the rematch that mattered.

Amy finished third with an overall record of 113-39, while Will remained in last place with a 106-46 overall record.
