Wyche was arrested in October 2015 after he allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend, who is also the mother of his child, regarding their sleeping arrangements.

South Miami police officers said the argument escalated, and Wyche pushed the woman several times on the bed and slammed her against a wall.

Police said the victim had minor injuries, including a bloody lip and torn clothing.

Wyche, who was a defensive tackle for the Canes, was suspended indefinitely from the team after his arrest.

Wyche told Local10.com in an email that he is hoping to sign with an NFL team this year.
