HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Former two-time heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs was scheduled to fight Fres Oquendo at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on June third, but that bout will likely be canceled after ESPN reported Briggs tested positive for "dramatically increased levels of testosterone."
ESPN obtained a copy of a letter sent to both camps by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association stating that Briggs' A sample had nearly twice the allowable limit of testosterone, Dan Rafael reported.

The 45-year-old Briggs has the right to ask for analysis of his B sample.
