Dolphins activate Reshad Jones from non-football injury list

Veteran safety earned trip to Pro Bowl in 2015

DAVIE, Fla. – Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones has been activated from the non-football injury list.

The team announced the move Wednesday.

Jones, who has played all seven seasons with the Dolphins, was placed on the non-football injury list July 26.

The 2010 fifth-round draft pick is second in team history among defensive backs with nine career sacks. He also led the NFL in total tackles by a defensive back with 135 in 2015, earning his first trip to the Pro Bowl.

Jones has started 75 of the 88 games in which he has played, recording 15 interceptions and three touchdowns in his NFL career.
