Gase refuses to comment on Timmons situation

No clear plan moving forward for linebacker

DAVIE, Fla. – After winning the season opener, many of the questions for head coach Adam Gase focused on someone who didn't play.

Gase was repeatedly asked about linebacker Lawrence Timmons, who disappeared on Saturday night and did not play in Miami's 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

The team was able to locate Timmons after filing a missing persons report.

"I'm kinda dealing with the guys who played," Gase said Monday.

Gase would not confirm if Timmons would be on the team going forward.

The Dolphins head coach said that he only has two rules for his team.

"Be on time and play hard," Gase said.

The Dolphins play Sunday at the New York Jets.
