TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – This probably didn't turn out the way Florida State was hoping.

Some members of the Florida State football team paid a visit to a Tallahassee elementary school Wednesday.

Joined by cheerleaders and Cimarron, FSU's costumed Appaloosa horse mascot, the Seminoles posed for a photograph with students at John G. Riley Elementary School.

But one student seized the opportunity to flash the University of Miami's signature "U" sign during the photo session. It caught the attention of Orlando Sentinel beat writer Safid Deen, who shared the moment on Twitter.

This young Miami fan received plenty of praise on Twitter for his sly move.

The Hurricanes defeated FSU earlier this month to end a seven-game losing streak to their state rivals.

Touché, young man.
