Cutler knocked out; Moore leads comeback win over Jets

Dolphins rally in 4th quarter

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Matt Moore led the Dolphins to an improbable 31-28 win Sunday over the New York Jets.

Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler was hurt during the game. Cutler was knocked out in the third quarter after taking a hard hit. The team called it a chest injury.

Moore stepped inĀ and led the Dolphins from two touchdowns down to beat their rivals.

Bobby McCain had an interception with 39 seconds left in the fourth quarter to set up Cody Parkey's game-winning field goal.

The Jets got on the board first.Ā Josh McCown threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Jermaine Kearse to put New York up 7-0.

The Dolphins responded with a Jay Cutler-to-Jarvis Landry touchdown pass to tie the game at 7.

Late in the first quarter, McCown hit Robby Anderson for an 18-yard touchdown.Ā  New York took a 14-7 lead.

Again, the Dolphins responded.

Cutler hit Anthony Fasano with a 4-yard touchdown to tie the game at 14.

Right before the half, Cutler threw an interception to Muhammad Wilkerson.

The pick set up McCownĀ for a 1-yard touchdown run.

New York led 21-14 at the half.

A third-quarter interception by Matt Moore put the Jets in business.

McCownĀ threw a 10-yard touchdown to Austin Seferian-Jenkins to put New York up 28-14 late in the third quarter.

The Dolphins cut the Jets lead to 7 in the fourth quarter, when Moore hit Kenny Stills for a 28-yard touchdown.Ā 

New York led 28-21.

Moore wasn't done.

Later in the fourth, Moore hit Stills again for a touchdown, tying the game at 28.

The Dolphins play Thursday at Baltimore.
