PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Local 10 sports director Will Manso is now alone at first place in the Local10.com college football weekly picks.
Will's 13-1 record last week was good enough to move him out of a weeks-long tie with sports reporter Clay Ferraro. Clay was 11-3 last week, falling to second place behind Will.

Morning meteorologist Julie Durda misfired on five games last week, dropping her overall record to 68-26. She remains in third place.
It obviously pays to be a follower for weekend evening anchor Shyann Malone, who had her best showing last week. She and Will had identical picks, their only setback Penn State's second-straight loss after the Nittany Lions started 7-0.
The stakes are quickly ratcheting up for the panel as another weekend of evenly matched opponents looms large.
Shyann is picking the home teams in every game this week except for top-ranked Alabama, which visits No. 18 Mississippi State. The Bulldogs haven't beaten Alabama since 2007.
She's not alone. Julie, a proud graduate of Mississippi State, is picking against her alma mater.
Speaking of alma maters, Will is picking No. 7 Miami to upset the third-ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and remain undefeated.
