Butler talked about his injury after practice on Tuesday.

Butler said, “It’s progressing well. I stepped wrong, I think the toe is part of the foot... It’s getting better, moving a little better.”

The Heat star said he needs a few more days to deal with pain issues.

Butler said, “Stuff happens. We’re doing everything we can to get me back on the floor, I can say that. I’m moving better. I can break a little sweat. I promise to be ready to go when I can.”

Butler said he thought it was much worse than it was when he got injured during the Utah game.

The Heat forward said he’s had turf toe before and he doesn’t think this is turf toe.

The NBA has a rule to play 65 games to be eligible for post-season awards.

Butler said, “You think I’m worried about some award. The only reward that I give a damn about is those banner over there. That’s what I told Spo and Pat and our guys to help us get.”

On the young players, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikolas Jovic, Butler said they were going to help the Heat organization long after he’s done playing.
