CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Canes quarterback Cam Ward is ready to go.
The transfer from Washington State signed autographs on Sunday morning at the Miami Team Store in Coral Gables.

Ward said he’s excited to be at the University of Miami.
Ward said, “It’s been good since I got here. Coach Cristobal gave me an opportunity. A small-town kid to go to the big city and make a name for myself.”
Ward said he’s already connected with teammates.
Wide receiver Xavier Restrepo was one of the first to reach out of him once he committed.
Ward said he’s putting in work to get ready for Spring Practice.
Ward said, “I’ve been feeling love from my teammates. At the end of the day, we’re all on the same mission. We’re all trying to get work in. Now, me being here for four weeks they know who I am and what I’m about.”
