"I've heard him say, 'My dad was the best dresser that I knew,'" Wade, Sr. told Local 10's Calvin Hughes. "That was a long time ago, but I think he just wants to be a little better than me."

"So the apple didn't fall far from the tree?" Hughes asked.

"Not at all," replied Wade, Sr. with a laugh. "I think it was a great apple!"

When asked what he thinks about his son's reputation for being stylish, Wade Sr. wasn't surprised.

"Oh, he's just being D-Wade! He's just trying to set a trend."

What's Wade Wearing: Game 5

Wade's wardrobe theme for the finals series against the San Antonio Spurs has been a collection of black and white clothing. His personal stylist, Calyann Barnett, had told Local 10 that would be the case before the series began.

Wade kept up the finals fashion theme Sunday night when he appeared at the post-game conference for Game 5 against the Spurs in a black vest and white shirt.

Barnett told Local 10 early Monday morning that the vest was by Yves Saint Laurent, over a Moschino shirt. The outfit was completed with pants by Armani and Del Toro shoes.
