The Heat entered Wednesday's game needing to beat the Washington Wizards and have either Chicago or Indiana lose their game.

Miami took care of business by beating the Wizards 110-102.

Both the Pacers and Bulls won, knocking out Miami.

Indiana beat a Hawks team that was resting its starting five for the playoffs.

Chicago crushed a Brooklyn team that also rested several key players for no apparent reason.

Miami started the year 11-30.

The Heat had a remarkable turnaround that included a 13-game winning streak.

Miami finished the season 41-41.
