Miami wins home opener, ends 2-game slide

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. ā€“ The Miami Dolphins offense did just enough to beat the Tennessee Titans 16-10 on Sunday.

Dolphins fans spent mostĀ of the team's home opener booing Jay Cutler and the Dolphins lackluster offense.

The deciding play happened when Cutler hit Jarvis Landry for a fourth-quarter touchdown to give Miami a 16-10 lead.

The Dolphins missed the extra point.

Miami's defense gave the team a boost in the first quarter.

Kiko Alonso sacked Matt Cassel, the ball came loose and Reshad Jones ran 38 yards for a Dolphins touchdown.

Miami went into the half up 10-3.

In the third quarter, Tennessee answered.

The Titans drove down the field and Cassel hit Phillip Supernaw for an 11-yard touchdown to tie the game at 10.

Miami had lost two straight games heading into Sunday.

The Dolphins play at Atlanta next Sunday.
