Glenna Milberg

Reporter

Glenna Milberg joined Local 10 News in September 1999 to report on South Florida's top stories and community issues. She also serves as co-host on Local 10's public affairs broadcast, "This Week in South Florida."

After beginning her career as a print journalist for a travel trade magazine, Glenna made the jump to broadcast news in 1987. She's covered an eclectic collection of South Florida stories -- among them campaigns, crime and Category 5s from the Everglades to the ocean. She has traveled extensively to bring home stories on such issues and events as Cuba's revolution and evolution, earthquakes in California and Colombia, and the plight of orphans in Ukraine.

Among her awards and honors, Glenna received the Big Impact Award from Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Miami, Hadassah's Myrtle Wreath Award, was named a "Woman Worth Knowing" by Miami Beach's Commission on the Status of Women and was chosen as one of South Florida's significant women by Mount Sinai Medical Center's Cancer Lifeline.

Glenna is a native New Yorker. She and her husband Michael have two bright and beautiful daughters. Her passions include art, photography, working out, music, theater, dancing and "q-time" with her family. She's a bookstore junkie and loves to travel -- anywhere! On weekends you may find her on Lincoln Road.

Glenna graduated from the University of Florida as an English major with a Bachelor of Arts degree and added a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism from Florida International University, where she was named outstanding broadcast journalist.
