Conference schedule includes 6 sessions on brand strategy

MIAMI – With dozens of sessions, navigating the Social Media Week Miami 5-day conference schedule can be challenging.

The Local 10 News guide divides the long list into topics ranging from workshops for digital media managers to sessions about the impact of social media in society

These sessions will help participants explore social media marketing strategies:

 

1. TARGETING HISPANICS- 11:15 a.m. Sept. 14: Eventcrowd hosts the "Marketing and Communication Trends in Hispanic Social Media"  with a group of South Florida's leading Hispanic marketing and communication executives. 

2. CREATING A COMMUNITY - 11: 15 a.m., Sept. 14: Experts talk about creating niche "tribes" at the " Top Tips and Strategies from Entrepreneurs Who Have Created Successful Communities Through Social Media " event.
3. ATTRACTING MOBILE USERS- 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 14: Naylet Aguayo , Andrew Cassidy , Melissa Goodis and Jennifer Kaminski will discuss how to create effective "omnichannel" marketing strategies.

4. INFLUENCER MARKETING- 10 to 11 a.m., Sept. 15: Stephanie Be , Sean Gardner and Pam Moore will discuss current trends during the "Influencer Marketing Revisited: What's Working, Trends and Case Studies " event.

5. GETTING MEDIA COVERAGE - 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sept. 15: Cristy Clavijo-Kish and Mari Santana will talk about "The Art of the Pitch- Powered by DiMe Media."

 

6. BUSINESS STRATEGY : 2 p.m., Sept. 15: Joe Martin, Pam Moore and Emily Thomas will talk about " Social Marketing and Storytelling for your Small Business and Personal Brand ."
