The original Nintendo Entertainment System is making a comeback.

Nostalgic gamers will delight at the new NES Classic Edition, modeled after the original version of the Japanese video game system first released in 1985.

This miniature version of the classic Nintendo comes with a full-size controller and 30 built-in games, including "Super Mario Bros.," "Donkey Kong" and "Pac-Man." It is complete with an HDMI output and an AC adapter, making it easy to plug in to a modern television and play.

New features include the ability to toggle between the old-school version of the games, as they looked when they were initially released for box TVs, a 4:3 version that gives the games a slight horizontal stretch or a perfect pixel version for those next-generation users.

The NES Classic Edition is available for purchase beginning Friday at a cost of $59.99. Additional controllers are $9.99 each.
