Legoland Florida shows sneak peek of new virtual reality roller coaster

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida is about to get wild as the theme park offered a sneak preview of its new virtual reality roller coaster.

The Great Lego Race is scheduled to open at Legoland Florida in Spring 2018 and will showcase 360-degree action even without a VR headset.

Moving up, down, forwards and backwards, the coaster will give guests a high-octane experience that will put them in the driver's seat for a race against Lego characters on the ground and in the air.

Lego claims the new coaster is the first virtual reality roller coaster designed for kids.
