Read full article: James Bond film ā€˜No Time To Die’ pushed again, to 2021

The release of the James Bond film ā€œNo Time To Dieā€ has been delayed again, this time to 2021, because of the effects of COVID-19 on the theatrical business. ā€œNo Time To Dieā€ was originally supposed to open in April 2020 but was pushed back to Nov. 12 in the U.K. and Nov. 20 in the U.S. The Walt Disney Co. last week delayed the planned 2020 releases of a handful of major movies until 2021. They include Marvel’s ā€œBlack Widowā€ and Steven Spielberg’s ā€œWest Side Story.ā€ Universal delayed ā€œCandymanā€ to next year. Some major releases are still planned for 2020.

NEW YORK – The Walt Disney Co. has further postponed its next mega-movies from Marvel, including ā€œBlack Widow,ā€ while also postponing Steven Spielberg's ā€œWest Side Storyā€ a full year in the company's latest recalibration due to the pandemic. The Scarlett Johansson Marvel movie ā€œBlack Widow,ā€ last set for Nov. 6, heads to May 7 of next year. That was the date set for ā€œWest Side Story,ā€ but Spielberg's musical will instead debut in December 2021. Given the interconnected nature of Marvel releases, the latest delay of ā€œBlack Widowā€ had a domino effect on other films. Since the pandemic began, the company's ā€œMulan,ā€ ā€œHamiltonā€ and ā€œArtemis Fowlā€ have gone direct to streaming, with ā€œMulanā€ made available for a $30 premium purchase by subscribers.
