The Florida Man Games are back for Round 2, as teams from around the state gather to prove they have what it takes to join the ranks of the world’s worst superhero.

An alligator was tackled in true "Florida Man" style. He did it with his bare hands and it was all caught on camera.

It ain’t the Olympics, but a group of Floridians plan to host competitions themed according to the collective antics of the beer-loving, gator-possessing, rap-sheet heavy, mullet-wearing social media phenomenon known as “Florida Man.”

The new Netflix series “Florida Man" may be a play on the popular meme about wacky news stories out of the sunshine state, but it's not a TV show making fun of Florida.

Maybe Florida Man has finally met his match.

PALM BEACH, Fla. – A Florida man was arrested Thursday after officers spotted him hiding near President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, authorities said. Palm Beach Police charged Allen Cox, 38, with violating a previous trespass warning that prohibited him from being near the property, the Palm Beach Post reported. He also told officers that he had no home address. Cox acknowledged that he had been given a previous trespass warning but that he preferred jail to seeing his parents, the report said. Jail records didn’t list whether he had an attorney who could comment.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. - That darn wind is always causing trouble, especially for "Florida Man." A man pulled over by police in Fort Pierce last month claimed the cocaine residue found inside a Budweiser can along with a crack pipe was blown there by the wind. Police noticed Joseph Zak, 37, appeared to be trying to discard an item when he was stopped for failing to pause at a stop sign, The Smoking Gun reports. When cops asked Zak about the white residue inside the can which eventually tested positive for crack cocaine, he told them "the police or the wind must have placed it there."
