Firefighters are working to extinguish a fire that broke out Tuesday at a strip mall in northwest Miami-Dade.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - One person was airlifted to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after a car crashed into the front of a home in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities said. The crash was reported around 4 p.m. at 10426 NW 32nd Ave.Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the injured person was being airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
