Tatis fielded the ball hit by Cincinnati's Jonathan India, made the throw to first base and then began walking off the field. The Padres said Tatis will be reevaluated on Wednesday. Tingler said Tatis has had a minor shoulder issue for years and has received treatment for it, including taping it for games. He missed time with flu-like symptoms and then jarred himself after diving headfirst into home on a flyball to shallow left field in a game on March 13.

The 21-year-old Kelenic, who hit Seattle’s first home run of spring training earlier this week against the Cubs, has been the center of attention during spring training. AdKelenic and his agent lashed out at the Mariners in comments made to USA Today following Mather’s resignation last month. After homering earlier this week Kelenic said he’s using those words as motivation.

AdAlmost 4% had abnormal results on heart tests done after they recovered but subsequent MRI exams found heart inflammation in less than 1% of the athletes. These five athletes all had COVID-19 symptoms. Two previous smaller studies in college athletes recovering from the virus suggested heart inflammation might be more common. The question is of key interest to athletes, who put extra stress on their hearts during play, and undetected heart inflammation has been linked with sudden death. And whether severe COVID-19 symptoms increase the chances of having fleeting or long-lasting heart damage ‘’is part of the puzzle,’’ he said.

The husband told Peoria Police he was woken up around 3:30 a.m. when he heard sound coming from the doggy door located in his bedroom, the police report said. The husband told police he kicked Nix in the face, then noticed another man's arm reach in and try to pull Nix outside. Armed with his stun gun, the husband leaned through the doggy door, took aim and struck Nix in his back, according to the police report. Nix said that he usually enters his home through the front, and that none of his doors have a doggy door. Both men told police that they had been out drinking that night.
