Baby, it’s going to get cold in South Florida
Pembroke Park, FL – A potent cold front pushed through the area Wednesday night. The chilly air behind it is starting to filter into South Florida. This trend will continue for the next few days, meaning a prolonged cold snap for us. This cold snap will actually last longer than usual across South Florida as our winds remain out of the north through Sunday morning. Mainly clear skies with strong sunshine will be enjoyed each afternoon with highs sitting in the low to mid 70s.
Friday cold front brings big changes this weekend
PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A cold front that moved through South Florida early Friday is bringing a quick end to a hot week, but this is not your average cold front. A boundary will move in from the Atlantic and spark a stream of showers to kick off the weekend. While there may be some sunny breaks, some places could seem like a washout with scattered light rain and drizzle. While we will still have a few showers off the Atlantic on Sunday, they will not be as widespread. After a hot week, it will feel rather cool out during any rain.
