DORAL, Fla. – One person was injured when a car crashed into a tree Friday morning in Doral, authorities said.
The crash was reported just before 7 a.m. in the area of Northwest 87th Avenue and 52nd Street.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokeswoman Erika Benitez said MDFR's Technical Rescue Team had to force open the rear passenger door to get access to the driver who was alert, but stuck under the steering wheel.
The driver was pulled out through the right rear passenger door and taken to an area hospital by ambulance.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. No other vehicles were involved.
