10-vehicle crash on I-95 in Deerfield Beach sends 4 to hospital

Northbound traffic backed up for about 6 miles

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – A crash involving 10 vehicles on Interstate 95 sent four people to a hospital Friday morning in Deerfield Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office's Department of Fire Rescue.

The crash occurred in the northbound lanes near Sample Road.

A dump truck appeared to have crashed into the side of a van.

There was also a car with severe damage to its front and rear.

This car was badly damaged in a 10-vehicle crash Friday morning on Interstate 95 in Deerfield Beach.

Local 10 News traffic reporter Nicole Perez said three northbound lanes remained blocked as of 9 a.m. She said traffic was backed up for about six miles.
