Stretch of Sheridan Street closed for 'extended time' because of crash

Multiple people injured in rollover crash

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A stretch of Sheridan Street was closed "for an extended time" because of a crash in Hollywood, police said.

The crash occurred Wednesday morning in the 3500 block of Sheridan Street.

Sky 10 was above the scene of the crash involving a car, an SUV and a pickup truck.

Hollywood police said at least one of the vehicles rolled over and multiple people were injured.

Five people were taken to local hospitals and one is listed in critical condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but detectives said it appears to have been generated by a rear-end collision.

The road reopened at about 3 p.m.
