BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation will host a meeting on Tuesday to discuss improvements that may be made to Interstate 95 between, and including, the interchanges at Commercial Boulevard and Cypress Creek Road in Broward County.
The meeting, which is s a part of the department's Project Development and Environment Study, will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Suites, 555 NW 62 St.

The study is exploring the improvements to traffic operations and looking into improvements to existing interchanges at Commercial Boulevard and Cypress Creek Road and adjacent intersections to both interchanges, FDOT spokeswoman Barbara Kelleher said.
The meeting will start with an informal open house. Then a formal presentation will take place, followed by time for public comment.
Project plans will be on display and department representatives are expected to answer questions about the potential improvements, Kelleher said.
The Project Development and Environment Study is expected to be completed in early 2018.
