Columbia graduate can move forward with lawsuit over detainment, judge rules

A New Jersey federal judge ruled Tuesday that Mahmoud Khalil can move forward with his lawsuit. The lawful permanent resident and recent Columbia graduate alleges he was unlawfully detained for his political views supporting Palestinian rights.
