Florida Legislature passes Trooper's Law in honor of dog found abandoned during Hurricane Milton

The Florida Legislature has passed Trooper's Law. Lawmakers in the House unanimously approved SB 150 on Tuesday, which would make abandoning a restrained animal during a natural disaster a third-degree felony.
