Washington State governor signs Alyssa’s Law into effect

The governor of Washington State has signed Alyssa's Law into effect, named after MSD victim Alyssa Alhadeff, who was killed in the Parkland school massacre in 2018. The bill requires school districts to coordinate emergency plans with local first responders and ensure schools have at least one piece of technology that can be used in an emergency.
