A tornado watch that was issued Friday afternoon for part of South Florida has been lifted.
The National Weather Service said the advisory was issued for Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Collier counties.
The tornado watch was lifted shortly before 5 p.m.
The advisory came as several media outlets reported that a tornado touched down in Delray Beach.
Meanwhile, a tornado warning was issued for the Middle Keys in Monroe County until 4 p.m., after a tornado sighting was reported near Marathon.
